  1. Get 200 gm of Mushroom.
  2. Provide 2 of medium sized tomatoes.
  3. Prepare 2 of medium sized onions.
  4. You need 2 of green chillies.
  5. Prepare 2 tsp of Curry leaves.
  6. You need 2 tsp of chopped coriander leaves.
  7. Prepare 2 of Elachi/Cardamom.
  8. Get 2 of Pattai/Cinnamon stick.
  9. Take 1/2 tsp of Jeera/Cumin seeds.
  10. Provide 1/2 tsp of Turmeric powder.
  11. Take 1 tsp of red chilli powder.
  12. You need 1 tsp of Coriander powder.
  13. Take 1 tsp of Garam Masala.
  14. Use 1 tsp of Ginger-Garlic paste.
  15. Take 3 tbsp of Oil.
  16. Get as needed of Water.
  17. Take to taste of Salt.

Steps to make Mushroom Gravy:

  1. First chop onions, tomatoes, chillies, coriander leaves, green chillies and take few curry leaves.
  2. Now take equal proportions of ginger and garlic for ginger garlic paste. Peel the skin of ginger and garlic. Use a mortor to make it into a paste(You can also use a mixer to make it into a paste).
  3. After completing all of this, chop the mushroom as shown in the picture and put it into a bowl containing water(This avoids the mushroom from darkening).
  4. Now add 3 tbsp of oil to a kadai or pan followed by adding 2 cardamom, 2 cinnamon sticks and 1/2 tsp cumin seeds. Give it a nice mix..
  5. Then add the chopped onions, green chillies and curry leaves all at a time..
  6. Saute all of it until the onion turns golden brown, then add ginger garlic paste,turmeric powder, chilli powder, garam masala and coriander powder..
  7. Saute this until the raw smell of ginger garlic paste and the masalas is gone.
  8. Now add the chopped tomatoes and a little water.
  9. Saute it until the tomatoes are cooked(i.e, when the oil separates from the gravy). Now add the required amount of salt for the gravy.
  10. Now remove the soaked mushroom from water and add it to the gravy and cook it for at least 3 or 4 mins.
  11. After 3 or 4mins, you will see water coming out from the mushroom. If you are okay with the consistency of the gravy, cook it for another 8 or 9mins.(I didn't add extra water, as I was okay with the shown consistency).
  12. If not, add required amount of water and cook it for the same stipulated time. After this add the chopped coriander leaves and switch off the stove..
  13. Your yummy,tasty and a non- vegetarian like Mushroom gravy is ready.
